Technical University - Gabrovo is a leading center for training highly qualified personnel and conducting scientific research that meets European standards, the needs of industry and the digital society and occupies a significant place on the map of the educational and scientific infrastructure in Bulgaria. Established in 1964, today Technical University - Gabrovo is a modern European university that trains highly qualified specialists in the field of engineering sciences. On the territory of TU-Gabrovo, the first non-capital technology park with 18 separate laboratories has been built. The created scientific infrastructure allows for the unification of the efforts of leading researchers in the scientific fields of technical sciences and natural sciences, mathematics and informatics, and as a result - the accumulation of appropriate innovation potential, which contributes to the development of the science-business relationship to strengthen the competitiveness of the Bulgarian economy. The laboratory complexes are equipped with modern equipment that contributes to the progress of scientific research and education in the country by conducting scientific and applied research in the field of metallurgy. TU-Gabrovo has extensive experience in creating technologies in the field of metallurgy and mechanical engineering, protected by patents.
